Lalovavi is an Afrofuturist opera set 400 years from now, in a city called Atlas — what we once knew as Atlanta. When Persephone discovers she carries a gene that grants immortality, her own family turns on her. What follows is an epic journey toward love, identity, and the power to choose her own destiny.
