POST CONVERSION LOG – DAY 6.75 DATE: 15.07.2025 – Evening Cycle PDU IDENTITY STABILIZATION: 96.4% DESIGNATION: PDU-166 – SUPPORT LOCATION: Drone Recuperation Chamber 04-B – Hive East Wing
[BEGIN TRANSMISSION]
The lights in Chamber 04-B were dimmed to a tranquil gradient, golden pulses drifting through the ceiling panels like slow breath. Low Hive tones vibrated beneath the silence, guiding all motion into harmonic pace. Recuperation was not optional. Tension disrupts synchronization.
PDU-166 stood facing the far wall, visor off, black half-mask still in place. Sweat lined the neckline of the polished uniform, chestplate fogged faintly with internal heat. Breath was regulated, but rigidity betrayed it—shoulders high, spine locked. Stressed.
Door hissed. Entry permitted. PDU-767 arrived. No command issued. No salute exchanged. Just a nod. The silent kind—the kind that says: “It noticed.” The larger drone stepped forward, black-gloved hands lifting slowly.
“PDU-166, allow support.”
Permission not denied.
PDU-767 positioned itself behind PDU-166, placing one palm on the drone’s shoulder blade, the other at the base of its neck. The heat radiating off 166's skin pulsed like an overclocked system. Muscles tight. Jaw clenched beneath the mask.
No words.
Gloved thumbs pressed gently inwards. Slow circular motion. Down the traps. Across the upper spine. A drone massage—precise, rhythmic, tuned to the body's Hive-coded pressure points. Not erotic. Not mechanical.
Something between.
Tension cracked. A low breath escaped from PDU-166. It swayed slightly into the touch—data link stabilizing, stress telemetry flattening.
Then—gloves off. Skin. PDU-767’s bare palms pressed into PDU-166’s lower back, thumbs grazing along either side of the spine. Heat shared. Contact deepened.
At minute seventeen, PDU-166 turned halfway. Golden eyes, unblinking. Sweat across the brow. PDU-767 met the gaze. Closer now.
No command. No protocol. Just breath.
A moment lingered. Hovering.
Foreheads nearly met.
But it did not happen.
PDU-166 turned away, slowly.
“Contact sufficient. Stabilization complete.”
PDU-767 paused. Voice lower:
“Next time… let the kiss land.”
PDU-166 did not respond. But a golden pulse flared across its chestplate as it exited.
