🌍 An emergency meeting of the “Energy Ramstein” was held in the G7+ format. Substantial assistance packages were announced, and since the beginning of the year, partners have mobilised a total of €500 million for Ukraine’s energy sector through this format.
🇩🇪 The Government of Germany has transferred two cogeneration thermal power plants to Ukraine as part of its winter energy support package. These facilities will soon make it possible to provide heat and electricity to approximately 86,000 residents of Kyiv.
🇨🇿 The Government of the Czech Republic has decided to send generators to Ukraine worth $490,000. In addition, the Dárek pro Putina initiative raised more than $3.8 million for energy assistance to Ukraine in just a few days.
🇱🇹 Lithuania decided to provide Ukraine more than 90 generators worth over €2 million.
🇦🇺 Australia announced approximately $7 million in support of Ukraine’s energy resilience.
🇱🇺 Luxembourg has decided to transfer 33 generators with capacities of 6, 45, and 80 kW.
🇵🇱 The “Warmth from Poland for Kyiv” campaign raised over €2 million. The Ukrainian aid charity “Oberih” sent a 13 kW GenPower generator from Poland to the Kyiv Social Assistance Centre, along with several battery units.
🇺🇦 Over the past few days, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Spouses of Ukrainian Diplomats Association delivered 32 generators to frontline military units, medical facilities, a children’s rehabilitation centre, an animal shelter, a church, and communities in various Ukrainian cities.
