From White Coat to Displacement Tents: A Professional’s Plea 🥼⛺
The Reality Behind the CV 📄
Before the war, my life was defined by the precision of a microscope and the life-saving results of ELISA machines. As a Laboratory Medicine Specialist at Al-Shifa, Al-Rantisi, and Al-Awda hospitals, my mission was to diagnose diseases and save lives.
Today, that world is gone. The laboratories are destroyed, and my "white coat" has been replaced by the struggle for survival in a displacement tent.
The Shift: From Diagnostics to Survival 🔬➡️🏚️
My professional journey has been forced to a halt, and my daily "metrics" have changed:
Instead of biochemical levels, I monitor my children’s and elderly parents’ ability to endure freezing cold.
Instead of diagnostic results, I search for a single drop of clean water for 19 family members.
Instead of a medical provider, I am now the sole guardian for 7 displaced families who have lost everything.
Two Worlds, One Family 🌊🚛
On the left: Our "Normal"—dreams and laughter by the Gaza sea.
On the right: Our "Now"—carrying our entire lives on a truck, searching for a safety that no longer exists.
Beyond the Numbers: A Shattered Future 🎓
We are not just statistics. We are a family of professionals—doctors, engineers, and specialists—now living in ruins. Among us are orphaned children and elderly parents whose lives depend on this plea.
How You Can Help: The Survival Math 📍
Your support is the "brick" that builds our wall of protection. Even the smallest contribution makes a difference:
$50: Feeds one family for an entire week. 🍞
$350: Sustains all 19 souls (7 families) for a week.
$1,400: Our monthly lifeline for food, water, and medicine. 🩺

I am Abdullah Al-Hajj, 25 years old. I graduated from high school with big dreams of earning a university degree, but life took a different turn. Due to the difficult circumstances we faced, I couldn’t pursue my academic aspirations. Instead, I joined my brother in the field of chemical manufacturing, and I quickly learned the craft. It became the primary source of income for our family. Through this work, I was able to get married and start building my own life.
But everything changed when the war broke out in Gaza. The relentless bombings destroyed not just our workplace, but also every hope and dream we had built. The factory that had provided for our family was reduced to rubble. I found myself struggling to provide for even the most basic necessities—food, water, and medical care for my pregnant wife, who is expecting our first child.
As the war intensified and the destruction spread to our neighborhood, we were forced to flee to a safer area. We found shelter in a makeshift tent, which barely protected us from the scorching summer heat or the bitter winter cold. Life in the tent has been harsh, and survival has become a daily struggle.
My younger brother, Bilal Al-Hajj, always had big dreams. From a young age, he aspired to become a professional football player. Recently, Bilal graduated from high school and enrolled in university, determined to balance his education with his passion for football. His dream was to play for one of the major football clubs, a goal he had worked tirelessly toward for years.
But the war shattered Bilal’s dreams as well. The harsh realities of our situation—the struggle for food, water, and basic medical care—have made it impossible for him to chase his passion. The war has not only destroyed homes and buildings but also ambitions, hopes, and the future we once envisioned.
🎯Campaign Goal:
Your donations can make a life-changing difference for my family. We need to evacuate my family of six from Gaza, and the cost of permits and coordination to leave is about $5,000 per person. Once we reach Egypt, your support will help secure shelter and cover initial living expenses as we adjust to a new life. The ongoing siege in Gaza has made survival increasingly difficult, with skyrocketing prices and severe shortages of food and water. Your generous contributions will help us meet immediate needs and begin rebuilding our lives. Please consider donating through the link below—your help can offer us a chance for safety, stability, and hope.

Help me and my family
Ghaydaa Al-Abadsa:
Before the war, my life in Gaza was full of hope. I used to go to university, study translation, and dream about my future. I would meet my friends, laugh with them, and enjoy simple moments—walking, eating, drinking, and living as a normal young woman with dreams. My father was with us, our home was full of warmth, and despite all the difficulties in Gaza, there was still life, there was still love.
But then everything changed. The war came suddenly and destroyed everything we had. Our home was bombed, and we were forced to flee, displaced into tents and the open fields. My father fell ill with cancer, and we waited for a chance for him to be treated outside Gaza. But the occupation denied him the right to live. Medicine was almost impossible to find, and day by day, we watched him suffer until he passed away in December 2024. Losing him broke us completely.
After his death, our suffering only grew worse. Hunger surrounded us, clean water disappeared, and displacement became our only reality. We have no safe place to go, no shelter to protect us, and no chance for a normal life. Bombs fall everywhere, children cry from hunger, and every day feels like a new wound. I can no longer continue my education—the war stole my future, my dreams, and my father.
Now, I am left struggling to survive, desperate for food, water, medicine, and a safe place for the children around me. Life here is unbearable, filled with pain and loss. I still hold onto one hope: to be able to leave Gaza, to continue my education in English translation, to work, and to build a better future—not just for myself, but for my family and for those who remain trapped in this endless suffering.
Please, your support can help us survive this nightmare. Your kindness can give us food, medicine, and a chance to live again. Without your help, we are left with nothing but hunger, grief, and the ruins of what was once a beautiful life.
Gaza's Silent Scream: Our Children Are Starving. Will You Help Us Survive?
The Unbearable Reality: 20 Months of Hell in Gaza
This isn't just a picture; these are the faces of my daughters and my brother's daughters, innocent souls trapped in Gaza. For over 20 months, our family has endured relentless starvation, bombings, and unimaginable fear. Our home, our memories, are now rubble. We've been displaced over seven times, now living in a tent, exposed to the brutal elements and constant danger. My father became a martyr in this war. Every day, we pray we won't be next.
The Unspeakable Cost of Survival: Food as a Luxury
Imagine trying to feed 17 souls when a kilogram of flour costs an astounding 30−30-30−38 (130 shekels). This is our daily battle. The borders of Gaza Strip have been closed since March 1, 2025, for over four months, cutting off essential supplies. Food is scarce, clean water is a luxury, and medical care is nearly impossible to access. We've seen prices skyrocket:
•1 kg flour: 35$
•1 kg lentils: 15$
•1 kg pasta: 15$
•1 kg rice: 30$
Banks are closed, ATMs are empty. We are forced to rely on "blood merchants" who exploit our desperation, charging 40% interest just to access our own money. This means a kilo of flour, already exorbitant, becomes even more unattainable.
A Plea for Humanity: Your Support is Our Lifeline
We are running out of time. Our children cry from hunger, their bellies aching. They deserve to live, to thrive, to have a future free from this nightmare. Your support, no matter how small, can make a monumental difference. Every dollar can help us buy a little more flour, a little more hope, and a chance at survival.
How Your Donation Will Save Us:
•Buy food, clean water, and medicine: $300 feeds our family for a week.
•Pay for emergency evacuation: The borders demand impossible fees, but we dream of a safe place.
•Rebuild our lives: If we survive this nightmare, your support will help us rebuild.

I am a mother of three children. We lost our home in the war and now live in a small tent that barely protects us from the cold or heat.
I was injured when an airstrike hit near our tent. Since then, I have been living with fluid in my lung and severe breathing difficulties. Every day, it gets harder for me to breathe.
Doctors told me I urgently need a surgery, but I cannot afford any of the medical costs.
I am a mother fighting to stay alive for her children.
And today… I am asking for your kindness.

Hello everyone, I am Ghazi Alamoudi from the northern Gaza Strip, displaced in Deir Al-Balah, and living in a tent with my family.😢🥺
My family and I are facing unimaginable hardship due to the ongoing war in Gaza. We have lost our home, my career, and our sense of safety. Now, we are living in a small tent, trying to survive each day amidst the chaos and destruction.
Before the war, I worked as an instructional designer, building a future for my family. But that life has been shattered. We are now desperate to find safety and start over. But we need your help. We are trying to raise funds to escape Gaza and rebuild our lives in a place where we can finally find peace.
Before — This was my life before the war, filled with hope and promise.
After — This is what remains after the destruction.
What once stood as a symbol of hope, my Home is now nothing but shattered walls and debris. I had just finished building our home, a place where I could finally feel safe. But in the blink of an eye, everything was destroyed by the ongoing war. The sounds of explosions filled the air, and I fled with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Now, where our memories and dreams once lived, all that remains is devastation.

Help My Family Escape the War in Gaza: A Cry for Safety and Survival
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I write to you with a heart heavy with pain and urgency. My name is Mohammad Jamal Shamia, and I reside in Sweden. I am raising funds to help my family and loved ones, who are trapped in Gaza, escape the unimaginable horrors of war. Their lives have been turned upside down, and now they stand on the brink of despair, with no place to call home and no future in sight. We are fighting for their survival.
A Family Torn Apart by War
My family consists of eight members: my father, my mother, my four sisters, and my two brothers. Each one of them has a story of pain and loss, but I will start with my father, Jamal Shamia, who is still in Gaza. His home was destroyed in the very first days of the war. A single rocket shattered not just his home, but also our hopes and dreams. The life he had worked so hard to build was reduced to rubble in a heartbeat. He now stands without a roof over his head, in a place where there is no security, no peace, and no hope for the future.
My mother, who left Gaza for surgery in Egypt before the war started, is now stranded on the Egyptian side, unable to return and without any support. She worries every day about my father, her children, and grandchildren who remain in Gaza, not knowing if they will survive another day.
Sisters in Crisis: Homes Lost, Lives Disrupted
My sister Rasha Jamal Shamia and her husband, Khalil Abu Samaan, have two children, Mira and Omar. They have been forced to flee their home in Gaza City and are now living in a tent in Rafah, far from everything they once knew. Their home, their children’s education, and their future—everything is gone. Their days are filled with fear, and their nights bring no rest. The constant sound of bombs haunts them, and they have no way to provide their children with the life they deserve.
My sister Rana Jamal Shamia and her husband, Mohammed Salama, are in a similarly desperate situation. Their two children, Amir and Taim, witnessed the destruction of their home firsthand. The bomb that took away their shelter also left Rana and her family with deep physical and emotional scars. They are now displaced in Rafah, struggling every day to survive. The trauma they have endured is unimaginable.
My sister Maram Jamal Shamia and her husband, Mareed Al-Suwirki, were able to leave Gaza with their children, but they carry with them the scars of war. Their home in Gaza was destroyed, and they lost everything. Mareed, a dentist, lost his job, and they are now trying to rebuild their lives outside the war zone, but they need your help.
My youngest sister, Reem, has been living outside Gaza for some time, but she hasn’t been able to reunite with the family. The pain of separation and worry for her loved ones has been unbearable.
A Brother’s Dreams Shattered
My brother Ahmad Jamal Shamia is a bright, ambitious student who was in his third year of dental school at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. The war took everything from him—his education, his home, his dreams. Ahmad was ranked first in his class, always striving to be the best and help others. Now, he is left with nothing. He moves from one temporary shelter to another, hoping for a chance to continue his studies in Egypt. But without financial support, this dream too will be lost.
The Desperate Situation
The situation in Gaza is beyond dire. Every day, my family faces unimaginable hardships. They live in constant fear, with bombings happening around them day and night. They are without basic necessities—no reliable access to food, water, or medical care. The trauma of living through this horror has left deep emotional wounds that will take years to heal, if ever.
We are desperate to get them out. We want to transport them to Egypt, where they can begin to rebuild their lives and find safety. But this escape comes at a high cost. It will take $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child to cross the border and start anew in Egypt. My family is counting on this fundraising effort to save their lives.
How You Can Help
Your support can make a life-saving difference. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to rescuing my family from this nightmare. With your help, we can reunite them with safety and security on the other side of the border. Time is running out, and the risks increase with every passing day.
Please consider donating to our campaign. Your generosity will not only provide my family with the means to escape the immediate danger but also offer them hope for a future where they can begin to heal and rebuild their lives. I cannot thank you enough for your support.
Together, We Can Save Lives
My family is relying on the kindness of strangers and friends alike to help them escape the ongoing violence. Your donation is not just financial assistance—it is a lifeline, a chance at survival. We need you now more than ever. Please, stand with us and help bring my family to safety.
Thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and your support. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can save lives.
