#RechargeSunday ~ today this phrase has meant something entirely different to me than usual... ...Due to VERY local flooding, my #HeroHubby Rich & I have really had to "Recharge" our resolve to help ourselves & others. ☀️In pouring rain, wild winds & very cold conditions, we pushed a lovely stranded young couple's car to help them start their flood soaked engine ~~~ to no avail... Despite the conditions we actually enjoyed the experience --- ❣❣❣It feels sooo wonderful to help others, it almost seems selfish - it's a definite win-win❣ ☀️☀️Then we drove the young couple (Taylor & Dave) to their emergency accommodation... through about 50m of flooded roadway --- not a dangerous act, yet it was risking our car also becoming a victim of the water💦💦💦 Happily, they arrived safe & sound❣❣ ☀️☀️☀️Lots more happened today... Sooo many decisions to make --- a HUGE day of challenges... and we dealt with them all as a united team - our connection is always a blessing... and now it feels even stronger...
