Reposting from @kaliprotectives #thekalikrew Tuesday with @brandon1878 // Every month we receive dozens of helmets back as apart of our Lifetime Crash Replace program. And for those worth learning from, Brad will cut up to see how the foam held. Things to look for are compression wear that show where the skull pressed into the foam and foam to shell separation showing the impact zone between the foam and the ground. Our CF tech contains our in-mold technology so any separation is abnormal. With Brandon we noticed significant separation and multiple areas showing signs of impact. The photos above show the helmet being cut along these impact points, which we use to analyze and see what worked, and what needs to be improved. Brandon suffered a spinal sprain, multiple lacerations to his face, and a minor concussion. Based on our findings with this lid, and his medical diagnosis, our Composite Fusion technology played a big role in what kept him from a much more long term injury. / / Thought we’d give you a little inside look at what goes on here and why we do what we do.
