For the Uncommon OCs questions...
Tibbs: 2, 7, 11, E
Trin: 6, 12, 23, F
Thank you, it's been a while since I've properly spoken about Tibbs!
Tibbs:
How easy is it for your character to laugh?
It depends on the context. He's used to sigh-laughing at his own clumsiness, and often does so immediately after falling on his face to break the ice and let others know that a) he's fine, and b) they're welcome to point and laugh along. But in more serious circumstances, he can get himself into a very solemn, dutiful mood that's difficult to crack, and things that would usually seriously tickle him will just make him sigh and shake his head.
What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?
One reliable nostalgia trigger will always be the sights, sounds, smells etc of a farm-type environment and/or open desert. It's pretty bittersweet for him, since it's playing on memories of the home he can't return to.
How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?
Tibbs hangs around with a lot of scientific/medical/engineering types without sharing any of those backgrounds or being particularly book-smart himself. Because of this, he finds himself without the first clue what people around him are talking about on the daily, and honestly, most of the time his facial expression speaks for him! He's grown so accustomed to these people speaking over his head that he typically just accepts that he likely wouldn't understand an explanation and lets it go- unless the matter seems immediately relevant to his Mission.
Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?
Tibbs and I are so different that I can't even envision us interacting unless circumstance forced us together. If in this scenario I still remember who he is, then I'd probably just act like a massive fan, which is something he's very familiar with and has conflicted feelings on. I hope I wouldn't annoy him too much, but I definitely don't think he'd choose to associate with me lol.
Trin:
Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?
Beyond certain fairly universal views, she feels that a lot is dependent on context, and so probably wouldn't give a blanket catch-all answer either way. Although she hass witnessed plenty of law-bending, for better or for worse.
How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?
After trying and failing to reach from every angle possible, she might resort to just rolling herself around on the floor and hoping she somehow hits the spot!
How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)?
Trin isn't overly prone to envy on the whole, and when it does happen she doesn't envy other people for their material possessions, but more for their knowledge/upbringing/overall lot in life beyond wealth. Since she can't exactly attempt to steal or trade for those things, she just silently stews over it and can sometimes end up being resentful and bitter to a degree. It doesn't usually last long, though.
What do you feel when you think of your OC (pride, excitement, frustration, etc)?
At the moment, a combination of pride, excitement, and almost awe that so many things in her story have fallen into place without input from me, haha.
