HIS PALMS ARE SWEATY WHILE SAT THERE WAITING FOR THE DOCTOR. leg BOBBING VIOLENTLY as posture hunched over, elbows RESTING on knees; he was WAITING to be escorted to his latest session.  his heart RACING in chest; PAINFULLY SO, feeling the threat of his heartstrings BREAKING under the anxiety. it was his ROUTINE CHECK UP from his therapist, harleen... even THE NAME had a SHAKY BREATH pass chapped lips; she was SOMEONE who made this place BRIGHTER; who made WHITE WALLS seem COLOURFUL. 

INSOMNIA WAS NO STRANGER. yet when his APPOINTMENT was closing in, there was that BUBBLE OF EXCITEMENT felt that made it so sleep was a mere memory; like a CHILD ON CHRISTMAS EVE, it was a rather STRANGE SENSATION -- but it didn’t take him long to find himself QUICKLY becoming addicted to it. his feet were INSTANTLY on the floor as one of the doctors called him, DIRECTING HIM towards the room; as if he hadn’t been there BEFORE, a million times over; as if he hadn’t started PICTURING his path towards the SUNLIGHT in recent months. 

THE BLEAKNESS IN EYES THAT WAS THERE, NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE SMILED NOW LIT UP. showing an EAGERNESS, like a PUPPY seeing it’s owner after weeks of not being home; it was PATHETIC, but arthur didn’t hold back, he COULDN’T, not when it felt like YEARS AGO since their last meeting ❛ —  HEY HARLS ❜ he wasn’t even TRYING to seem like the therapist was NOTHING MORE than that, he’d never treat her like another WHITE COAT.
