William Powhida and I recently teamed up with the ever amazing Brendan Carney over at Supreme Digital to print an edition of the 'ABMB Hooverville' drawing. Brendan finished the edition of 13 late last week and Bill and I signed and numbered them last night!
Brilliant quality! I am amazed!
48"x 32" edition of 13 digital prints.

If you attended the ArtsInBushwick BOS 13 Benefit at Grace Exhibit Space you likely noticed the colorful maps for sale nearby the refreshment area. The limited edition prints, signed by artist Loren Munk and sold at between $250 and $350 each, were produced locally by printing and finishing studio Supreme Digital.
The company graciously donated the edition to BOS following the success of Bill Powhida’s drawings with the festival last year. In the past Supreme Digital has collaborated on similar fundraising editions with Rachel Harrison for Triple Canopy, and Shannon Ebner for Printed Matter’s New York Art Book Fair.

Founded in 2006 by Brendan Carney, Supreme Digital is centrally located at 56 Bogart - right outside the Morgan L stop. The studio is proud to list Bjarne Malgaard, Darren Bader, Kate Gilmore, and Pieter Schoolwerth, as just a sampling of the artists with whom they’ve collaborated.
A graduate of New York City's School of Visual Arts, Carney found his introduction to printing while working as a retoucher for Jeff Koonz. For Brendan bringing a digital image to life proved to be a much more gratifying experience than simply retouching on screen, especially once he saw how happy prints could make an artist feel.
The shop offers an array of services including scanning, mounting and finishing, retouching, framing, indoor and outdoor display printing, and laser cutting; and is almost always working on an artist edition at any given time. Although Supreme Digital is a for-profit business it remains his strong desire to “support the community and its artists and institutions.”
Supreme Digital participates in this weekend's Bushwick Open Studios showcasing editions by Justin Leiberman, Loren Munk, and others.
As Bushwick’s creative population continues to grow so do the number of ambitious visual undertakings. And in a neighborhood brimming with passionate dreamers and innovators as this one is, Supreme Digital proves an invaluable resource.
