unexpected visitor;
The way her mother had been acting was if the walls were going to come crashing down around them. An unexpected visitor had arrived and the teenager was informed to be on her best behavior all while not engaging too much. Her mother had always been somewhat of a strong woman, but the way she was acting now was pitiful. “If you don’t want this person here, why not just tell them to leave? I mean honestly, who is it?” Madison asked in confusion, eyes fixated on the woman frantically preparing the guest bedroom. When the only answer she received was silence, she rolled her eyes and exited the room with a sigh of annoyance exiting her lips. It was probably nothing, Cordelia had always had a bad habit making mountains out of ant hills.
Making her way down the lavish hallway, she caught her reflection in the mirror hanging on the wall next to old class pictures of their prized Coven. Thank god the style had updated over the years. Rubbing the cherry red lipstick around on her lips, Madison ran her fingers through her long golden locks of hair. She had inherited mostly everything from her mother, figure, looks, even skin tone. In fact, the only thing Hank had cursed her with—besides being a deadbeat father—was his height. She had never let it get to her, besides it was never an issue that a lavish pair of Jimmy Choo’s were not able to fix.
Speaking of the heels, they clicked against the hardwood as she moved down the staircase only to stop halfway noticing an unfamiliar woman standing in the foyer. With arched eyebrows, she continued to move slowly while her eyes took in the figure dressed in black. “You must be the person who has sent my mother into a mental breakdown.” Her words exiting with a small laugh. “Hi, I’m Madison… and you are?”
