Working A Case

She stood there over the corpse in the morgue. This was the third body that had showed up here like this. All the blood was missing but the wound was well covered up with what made it look like an animal attack. Liana knew better than to just think it was a simple attack of an animal. She had been working on his case ever since the first body showed up, and she was working alone on it. If this was what she thought it was, she needed to be careful, for her sake. The last thing she needed was to have a hunter walk in on this and almost blow her cover. As she continued to expect the body, she could begin to hear soft footsteps walking toward the room. Act like a hunter.

Dean is bored out of his mind.

His dad is on a hunting trip, his mom is cooking dinner, and Sammy is spending the weekend at his friend’s house, so he’s got no one to hangout with and nothing to do.

He hates it. It’s stupid. Plus it’s hot and the air conditioning is down (“your father will fix it when he’s home, we’ll be fine until then, it’d be silly to pay someone else to do it,” his mom says) so he’s sweaty and the only comfortable place to be is outside on the front porch in the shade, which means he can’t even watch tv. He has to watch… Lawrence. It’s a thrill.

Sitting with his legs through the bars of the porch railing and his hands on his knees, he can barely stand it anymore. Rural Kansas isn’t exactly a wealth of entertainment. He’s close to just trying to fall asleep all hunched over until his mom calls him for dinner, but after a half an hour of seeing nothing but wind rustling grass by his dirt driveway and beside the gravelly road, a UHAUL comes chugging along seemingly out of nowhere. And it’s the big kind, too. The face he makes seeing this crinkles his freckle-spotted nose, and wrinkles his forehead and the corners of his eyes.

Nobody moves here, he thinks. Why would they?

He watches intently as the moving truck pulls into the driveway of a house across the street and down a little ways from his.

Closed Starter // Dean and Castiel

Castiel sighed. Here they were, another chance to defeat Lucifer once and for all, and of course the spell called for the most obscure items. He had listened to Sam list off what he was missing and he felt certain that he could locate most of them. But then there were some like..

“Blood of a holy man? How are we supposed to obtain that?” He frowned. Attacking a priest didn’t sound like a good idea, at least not to him. “Spotted owl feather should be easy enough but something twice blessed? Would twice blessed water work?” 

He looked to Dean as they were the only ones left in the room. Sam had gone to begin preparing the spell. “I suppose maybe we could begin in the forest for a spotted owl feather. That should be one of the easier things to find.” He nodded, taking a few steps toward Dean and casting him a small smile. “I’m ready to go,  when you are. We’ll figure this out, Dean. We’ll defeat Lucifer for good this time.”

New School | Closed for SuprnatRP

It was bad enough that his family had moved, causing him to switch schools, in the middle of the school year. The first day for him would be just another Thursday for everyone else. But now he was running late. At least, he assumed so, given the lack of students outside or in the halls. At his previous school, classes started at 9. Here, at Lawrence High, classes started at 8.  

Sighing to himself, checking the time (5 to 9), Castiel vowed to kill his brother for making him late. Not literally, of course, but Gabriel would definitely be getting yelled at by the teen considering he’d been the driver that day. Being late was not a good way to start his first day!

Luckily, the week before, his parents had already enrolled him and gotten everything ready paper-work wise. All he needed to do was show up. Too bad he’d missed almost all of the first period already!

Castiel took a deep breath as he walked towards the open door of his homeroom class. This was probably the worst part of joining a new school, and being late just made him feel worse and more anxious. But there wasn’t much he could do about it now. He knocked on the door, getting the teacher’s attention as they were (most likely) wrapping up their lesson.

“Hi. I’m looking for a Mrs. Lancaster? I’m a new student, and sorry, I know I’m late.”

Literate Minds

“Ironically I hear self proclaimed nice guys are the ones to avoid, Sam, but I’ll give you a pass for good behavior.”

It was an old name, and Margaery’s age was probably deceptive. Faye didn’t age like humans.

“Charmed to meet you as well, Sam. And yes, you could say I’m new in town. I don’t know how long-might be a bit, might be no time at all. I have a brother who lives out this way, I’m helping him with a project.” Mostly true, though he perspective of ‘out this way’ could have been different.

“Mmm. Let’s see. A sandwich shop sounds like it would fit the ticket, provided they have good chips. So are you a local, Sam? Or just visiting?”

Something still felt different about him, even if she couldn’t identify it yet-and that intrigued her.

Hunting with Sam// closed rplay

Charlie was in her motel room in Topeka Kansas which just happened to be her home town. The ginger was checking out the local newspaper while shipping on her cup of coffee. She came across a rather interesting article that mentioned some very strange weather patterns. So the young redhead decided to check into it herself having never worked a case with demons, she knew a little bit about them from reading some books about them.
