Bro why are people like this. I tried to genuinely point out on fb like “hey I’m worried about your surface piercing, it’s super rejected and if left like that could cause severe scaring and even permanent damage”

And people came at ME

“Every body is different, just because it doesn’t fit the norm doesn’t make it rejected”

Rejection is not me personally going “oh my god that’s disgusting”, rejection means it’s working it’s way out of your body and won’t be a viable piercing if left as is.

i got a surface bar in today and i love it, its so cute. i also got a new attachment for one of my bars so im now having a theme for all my piercings bc they cute af

So employable. Nah actually STEM jobs are great because a lot of times you can look like a total fucking weirdo and it doesn't matter. Welcome to IT, where you can put as many holes in your face as you want. As an aside, that surface bar is totally new - the old one got borked coming out of the side of my face (anti trigus rejected ... dark days) so when I came back and they figured out the screws were stripped, they replaced a $115 piece of jewelry for free. That plus the Labor Day sale meant it cost me $25 to have this done. Yeah, piercer totally got a 100% tip. I ain't rich by any means but this piece + work was a fucking steal. TL;DR - go to a reputable piercing establishment, buy expensive jewelry because warranties are a real thing, and tip your piercer like you would a waiter. Also my face is looking old and stupid today.
