Sewing round up of 2013

Of course I couldn't do a round up of the year without talking about sewing.

So I obviously bought too much fabric, a fair bit of which I have yet to use, but I have lots of plans. A rose skirt, a dress suitable for summer weddings, an evening dress, a more formal lacy black evening dress to name but a few.

I also have other dress ideas whirring round in my head, maybe a purchase of a Deer and Doe pattern, loving the Belladone dress, and there is a cute coat pattern on there too and maybe even the Anna dress that I have seen a lot of people blogging. All of which are very cute and I WANT!!

So what did I make, clothes wise, in 2013, well there were skirts...

A blouse or two...

And of course lots of dresses...

Even my first knit/ jersey fabric dress...

and finally a jacket...

You'll have to excuse my lack of makeup and messy hair in a lot of these pics, but to be honest I'm too lazy to sort all that when I wanna get a pic of an item I've made.

Aim for this year: take nicer pictures of my items. I see lots of lovely pics on other blogs and def need to try harder!!
