Hey y'all I'm fostering a puppy and we have learned she and her sister both need surgery on their knees. Since they're going to be giant dogs it's really important they get it. Any donation and reblog helps! 💕💕
This is Polar here, I am writing on behalf of both my sister and myself. You see, we are in need of a Christmas Miracle!
Let's start at the beginning...
Last summer my mom was no longer wanted by her family. The owners contacted Marley's Hope and my mom went to stay with them. While she was there, they found out she was pregnant with me and my sisters and brothers.
My Momma gave birth to 6 little mini babies...( I was the cutest of all) and we lived a wonderful life with our foster mom and dad, who cared for us and my mommy.
Shortly after I learned how to walk, I knew something didn't seem quite right...Elsa and Sven ( my siblings) told me that they felt funny too. But we were happy and we loved to play...then it was time for us to go and see our doctor.
Our doctor said we had better go see another special doctor...his name is Dr. Draper. He rubbed our tummy and told us how pretty we were. He told our rescue that we had very bad knees and that we would need to have him operate on them.
Dr. Draper told Darlene that we had a grade 4 out of 4 medial patellar luxation. He also said that because we are Great Pyrenees dogs, that we were predisposed to this condition.
Santa, our wish is that we can have the surgery that is needed to help us be able to walk. Our rescue said that they are not going to give up on us...that we are just babies. We really hope that your Christmas magic can help us and that soon, we can walk pain free...until then, our fosters are taking very good care of us and so are our vets. They make sure we have everything we need.
Now all we need is to raise the money for surgery and get better, it is very expensive. $2200.00 we each need, plus tax and x-rays. I know this is A LOT to ask for on our Christmas wish list and I just want to tell you that both my sister and I have been very good puppies...we are just 5.5 months old and have a long life ahead of us, so please, if you can help- please do.
