one of my headcanon about the emery walsh and brendon park can be summarized by this twt/meme:
brendon park: walsh hunts park for sport and park is actually scared of her. the rest of the surgpitt doesn't know he once made a move and he's too ashamed to even divulge why emery's mean to him. the rest of the surgpitt just assumes she hates his guts (which is true) but they don't know how deep it goes.
walsh relationship hc w/ surgpitt:
eileen shamsi: she respects her. sometimes too rigid for her but she understands. walsh finds it cringe she works with her husband.
yolanda garcia: they probably had history but moved on from it. they maintain their relationship to a professional one and are friends now. most of the time, they just talk about their yuri relationships. they're each other's lesbian friend.
linda conley: walsh ASPIRES to be her, respects her so much. when she was still a resident and was rotating neurosurgery, linda would be mean to her and she liked it. she adopted some of her behaviour.
clay barrett: fatherly mentor. he wanted her to be his protégé but she likes trauma more. he's like the wise owl emery goes to when she got questions.
oscar flores: probably fought with him before re: surgery. nothing big. oscar would tease her about how she needs to calm down cause he can literally see her jugular veins beating. even doubling down that he'll gladly operate on her. walsh would reply "don't fucking start with me, i'll break ur neck". would send his residents to walsh so she can scare them.
fred miller: started as same time with walsh. their friendship is like whitsantos but make it surgery. also likes sending his resident to her to scare them.
residents loves her even if she's scary because they learn a lot. she's confident and mean because she leaves no room for error. she says mean things but it's actually to push and develop the resident's confidence.
