I finally picked up the pencil to do some serious drawing instead of the doodles I've ended up falling into lately, but I got frustrated with the sketch not turning out how I was wanting it to so I went back to the essentials/basics/foundations(?) - skull studies!

Or the human skull in varying angles, at least.

And considering the slight change in the quality of the sketches from fhe first to last skull I'd say I was having one of those "Oh no.................................Aight we're good" moments - I suppose this was exhibit A of why warmups exist, in fact, this probably could have been a warmup if I had not chosen to call it a day after posting this.

I finally revisited my incomplete drawing of my The Lord of The Rings OC whose WIP I posted some months ago, but something about it was Irreperably Wrong so I ended up making an entirely new sketch.

Or I suppose two, incorporating some of his lore.

I wanted to make a cunty sketch of him at first but I dont think I could get the pose right at first, aaaand then I got lost in the sauce of just drawing him in general.

I still want to keep everything about him under wraps, although I feel like at this point it will take me another 5 million years for me to reach a state in the works that I would be willing to drop any of his actual lore.

Oh well, I suppose than can be something I do while I procrastinate rather than scrolling on social media apps.
