“Nag-expect ka?”
A question I anticipated from everyone after you kneeled and mustered all the courage for you not to miss a single line from your spiel. I bet you can already hear your heartbeat pulsating in your temples because at that moment, I can hardly recall how things were around us. I was just intently listening to you, nodding my head hard out of agreement.
Did I really expect? I did. I did but my expectations were on the other end of spectrum, like something withdrawn and quiet. But still, I would not have it any other way because it was a milestone better shared with loved ones. How they witnessed it and got emotional after a height of adrenaline just to make sure things go as planned that night was much appreciated, physically and in spirit. Truly, only God can reveal the one who has the intention to put the ring on it in His own time! He knows how I fervently discerned and specifically prayed for someone who takes after His own heart. And that person who kneels before God, finallyyyyy kneeled in front of me to ask my hand in marriage.
Our timeline may be built out of the ordinary and circumstances may be out of grasp and sure, it may not go as smoothly as it should be. I want to say loving you is easy but we have been taking a big leap of faith 🥺 In spite of all, it gets a little easier. Everyday, it gets easier and let us do that “everyday” together, my love. ❤️🩹
