this just came up because my best friend is helping us clean and pack to move while I’m injured and it’s kicking up a lot of dust which is making me sneeze like crazy

if someone is having a sneezing fit (3+ sneezes in a row), how many times do you have to acknowledge the sneeze?

only once, for the first sneeze

twice but no more

three times but no more

every single time they sneeze, no matter how many

by “acknowledge the sneeze” I mean by saying “bless you”, “gesundheit”, or other such phrases. as far as what “have to” means, answer based on personal preference/belief, you don’t have to really be able to justify it, it can just be based on vibes. unless maybe you come from a background that does have a broadly understood cultural norm that would dictate that exact number (I am not personally aware of any such cultural norms, but maybe they exist!)

I'm so excited I can't sleep. My love and I have come to one of the biggest decisions of our lives. We will be moving soon, living with his mother for a while in the mountains until we find a large amount of property to build a house on. It's going to be a small 2 bedroom cabin in the woods, and my heart won't be still at the thought of it. I want to pack up and go right this instant. We are so tired of our dead end jobs, living in a neighborhood surrounded by people. It's time to grab our things and move to the mountains.
