Combine this with the already existing social credit system and consider that China is exporting its model to countries all over the world (for which they are building the infrastructure), mostly authoritarian countries in Africa with smart cities full of CCTV cameras that track people by their face and even gait.
And we thought the present was bad.
Looks like the future's going to get much worse.
