hey! for the reblog/like survey, when we provide the reblog:like ratio, should we simplify it, or leave it as exactly what the note counts are? (ie: 2:7, or 24:84)

You can leave the note counts as is don't worry I will do the math in Google Sheets/excel later 😭😭 don't worry yall no math test on the cup smp survey.

for the art ratio survey, should we include reblogging our own post in the reblog count, or subtract them?

Hi yes I am so glad someone brought this up. A few people have already reported this data to me and then it made me realize it was probably a question I should've included (oh well oof.) But for data consistency sake and since so many people have answered already I would just say you can include your self rbs since it's possible many people already did. If you want to specify just for my knowledge how many there are and perhaps I can show a small little sub-analysis thing from those who did report that data feel free, but it won't be a variable accounted for because I did not think to ask that formally.

I would count moodboards as a form of art. Just specify under other that it is a moodboard and i'll categorize it as such!

Hii!! I have a question for the survey, will it be helpful (when submitting all 3) to vary the popularity of the posts? For example, Link A is a 1k note post, and then the next is a 50 note post. Or is it better to keep it in the same note range?

Because I find personally, the posts with fewer notes have a better ratio (for example, i have an art that has roughly 40 notes; but a VERY good ratio where only 4 people didnt reblog.)

Mildy offtopic but I feel is relevant information; I usually find when I first post something it's more likely to get a surge of reblogs near the beginning, then after a while it's only likes. I think this is mostly people seeing posts with loads of notes already (or little notes but an old post) and not feeling the need to reblog. Do you find this with your own writing too? :0

(Personally, I don't mind the ratio if a post already has LOTS of notes altogether; but it does become a bother when it's a post that's struggling to gain traction, yk?) Sorry for the large chunk of writing!

I have no preference for the note range as I am just analyzing the ratio itself for this study (so 500:1000 would be the same as a post you report as 50:100 that is 1:2 ratio). If you want to give consistent data go right ahead. Though i suppose you do bring up a good point about it having a better ratio!

And yeah i definitely get a surge of rbs (or a surge of kudos/comments) when i first post something for sure!

About the survey, does this include rpverse art and if so would that be under dream smp or other?

I would say please specify that the art is rpverse under its own fandom! I didnt think about that making the survey so i think that will be fine because rpverse is under its own lore though inspired from the dream smp.

Although it may not seem like this, you are my friend Santana. Having you live with Rachel and I in New York can get hard at times but I’m still happy to have you living and experiencing life with me. 

You’ve also helped me a lot and I’ve helped you. We’ve helped each other and I consider you as a very close friend of mine. Believe it or not but I actually care about you. Don’t make me regret saying all of this.
