what i would do if everyone else in the world disappeared
Step 1: go around to all the pet stores and the humane society and free all the animals. do the same with all the homes that I know have pets.
Step 2: go to Wilco (the nearby farm supply store) and raise all of the chicks until they’re grown, then set them free.
Step 2.5: meanwhile take care of myself by finding food and wearing the clothes sold at the store (its a farm supply store, the outfits are likely to be very high quality and durable. besides they’re free!) and adopt several dogs and maybe a cat as well.
Step 3: drive up to Portland and go to a fertility center and get pregnant. (I'm a girl I might as well try to extend the life of the human race. also, try to keep my children as genetically diverse as possible.)
Step 4: find a large plot of land nearby and start a farm. raise sheep, cows, goats, chickens, etc. grow a large variety of plants too. also more pets.
Step 5: continue to live. take care of the farm, keep having kids as long as I can, raising my kids, using horses for transport once all the gasoline expires, try to preserve as much knowledge and technology as I can.
