Your expectation must be actualized no matter what. Sometimes delay might mean God has something special in store for you. He said He knows the thoughts He has towards us . Thoughts of good and not of evil to give us an expected end. In other words, to meet our expectations. We should be able to wait upon the Lord and not to bow to pressures we undergo. Bible talks about waiting upon the promises of God that though it delays, it shall surely come to pass. Look at this scenario; Adam was 130years when he begot Seth. Seth 105 , begot Enos. Enos was 90 and gave birth to Canaan. Canaan 70, gave birth to Mahalaleel and Mahalaleel was also 65 when he gave birth to Jared. Jared who many thought couldn’t gave birth,at 162, gave birth to the greatest at that time; Enoch. Sometimes a delay is God’s decoration in disguise for your life. God is committed to His promise. He says He will never leave or forsake us. His promises concerning us shall surely manifest.
