rubbing the back of his neck, the king sighs before looking back at richard. “I know I am assigned to you as a servant, but I don’t think I should go there. if gilgamesh really is currently ruling, there is no telling how the people and he might react to me appearing - even worse, if I am there... it could hinder the mission. I can travel the land and try to gather information on the beasts movement - I know this place after all.”

          nerves ?  is that what this was ?  perhaps ... but why was she so nervous ?  she had already proven herself worthy of this place .  was it the fact her parents plan was working that made her so nervous ?  this was going to bring her happiness .  was the promise of happiness supposed to make someone so incredibly anxious ?  her thoughts were abruptly stopped at the creak of the door opening .   well , this was not the time to be anxious .  time to put what she was taught to use -- understand the heir , get close to him , and there she will find happiness . 

              standing up , she offers the boy a curtsy and a warm smile .

            her words were hushed, spoken close to his ear to try to gently wake him up. how had she gotten into his room when he was asleep? really, don't worry about it. going places she wasn't supposed to be was one of her best talents. with the lack of response, she sighed, poking his cheek a bit.

            jumping up was clearly not a good idea as she almost completely toppled over. luckily, she was just sober enough to find her footing before she could. grabbing her empty glass in one hand, she hooks her arm with his. a playful gesture, but also just so she knew she would be able to make without wiping out in the halls.  giggling, she leans on him, squishing her face against his arm.
