I took Dharma to the WTC memorial site and showed her the surviving tree. I told her about what happened that day because I felt it was important for the young generation to understand why it's so important to always be kind and to have a good heart because there are "not so good" people in this world. And that we must always try to be the light to dispel the darkness. And like the surviving tree, we rise above, we thrive, we live a life with purpose.
