🌴GAME CHANGERS REDUX🌴 • Castaway: Ciera Eastin Season(s) Played: Blood vs Water {27}, Cambodia {31} Previous Placement(s): 5/20, 10/20 • She voted out her mom! That is the most common tag line to describe Ciera's gameplay, but it goes much deeper than that. Ciera started off her Survivor experience on the doomed Tadhana tribe, which voted Out many strong members. Although the women were targeted, Ciera was able to make it to the tribe swap because of Brad Culpepper's antics and ultimate blindside. At the tribe swap she stayed safe due to a very strong tribe, and bonded extremely well with Tyson Apostol and Gervase Peterson. At the merge, after her mother returned from Redemption Island, she had to really prove herself to the majority, and willingly voted out her mother in order to do so, securing her spot in a tight knit group of four, now re including Monica Culpepper. At the Final 6, Ciera knew that she wasn't going to make the Final Tribal Council as number 4, and caused one of the biggest upsets in Survivor history when she drew rocks, and ultimately landed on the wrong side of the white rock. After an immunity win, she was voted out at the Final 5 due to her strategic gameplay and underdog status. In Cambodia, we saw a more ruthless Ciera emerge, one that was out for blood and ready to cause chaos. She made deep connections with Kelley Wentworth, Abi Maria Gomes, and Kass McQuillen, calling themselves the Witches Coven. At the merge, after blindsiding Savage's puppy dog Woo, Ciera and her alliance were on the outs, and Kass was the first to be cut. Ciera showed a strong strategic and social game after Wentworth's idol play, getting the majority back on her side to blindside Kelly Wigglesworth. She was able to keep votes in her favor, but an idol play by Jeremy Collins sent her to Ponderosa. • This season, Ciera wants to tone down her gameplay, in hopes of finally reaching the Final Tribal Council. I would say Ciera has an okay shot at going far, and based on photos from when she came back, I would say she makes at least the merge. Her new style of gameplay may leave her without the million dollar check, though.
