I know Captain says it is safer here than outside during the winter, and it does get really very cold in Canada. But I feel so uncomfortable I can’t seem to sleep, I miss the forest. It’s strange, when I first left the city I missed the noise, but having even a little of it back is unnerving.
What a charming little village. I must say I was reluctant while I was injured but I’m glad it turned out to be a nice village compared to the other people I’ve run into. I think I might like it here.
Seriously, the next time Ace comes in here asking for an inventory check of all meds I’m gonna drug his whiskey. Somehow gotta come up with a computer system that he can check daily without bugging me when I’ve got patients.

Surprisingly, I found a box of Fun Dip when I went to get more gas for the vehicles. I can’t decide if I want to keep them all to myself or share them with little Danielle so she’s bouncing off the walls for Aaron. Decisions.
