Welp, it’s been a few weeks since I’ve joined the bioshock fandom so I thinkit’s reasonable for me to make ocs now right?
I’m so late to this party lmao
So, In the Mercury Suites area I found a grand piano and I thought
I wonder if any splicers ever found a piano like this and sat down to play it..
Ladies and gents, here’s your piano playing splicer
(more under the cut for anyone who’s interested)
A concert pianist who’d hit a rough patch in her career, Susan Annelie Albertsson came to rapture in 1954 so she could try performing for a new audience and make a bit more cash. She met with Sander Cohen in an attempt to kickstart her new career in rapture, and he very happily agreed to letting her play in the fleet hall. Despite this, though, Susan struggled to cope with her new way of life and ended up turning to ADAM and alcohol to console herself.
Susan was commonly seen at concerts and parties in her signature red velvet gown and pearl jewelry, but she had an array of more simple dresses and such to wear out and about in Rapture.
While part of the upper class, Susan did not forget to be kind to those in the lower classes. She definitely would have sided with Atlas’ during the civil war.
Susan is a kindly woman with an easy smile, a rapier wit and a coy, “i know something you don’t” air about her. She is not afraid to attack someone verbally if they have wronged her, and can be very sarcastic.
After Rapture’s decline she became one of the houdini splicers, and despite the fact that she tends to wander around quite a bit she always comes back to fort frolic to play piano for the captive audience of plaster coated corpses.
The toll on her body due to ADAM is not visible, but psychological.
may add more later c: still working out the kinks, but I have some dialogue that would be from in game situations
Before she’s detected the player, Susan can be heard lamenting her failed career as a pianist and crying out in anguish “He said I would be a star!” accompanied by sobs
If the player runs away from her after an encounter she would call out “They used to love me! Love me! Why don’t you love me?!” as she gives chase
and if she hears the player, but doesn’t see them; “Have you come to hear me play?” or “Oh? someone wants to listen?”
