My Flesh and Blood (2003)- the story of Susan Tom, mother to 13 children, many with severe disabilities. Last night I watched this documentary with Steve and it's really beautifully done. The movie shows a year in the lives of the Tom family and the story of the amazing woman holding it all together. Equal parts amazing, inspiring, heartbreaking, and sometimes funny. I guess it won a bunch of awards and I can see why. Great for anyone interested in adopting, fostering, teaching, or working with special needs children in any capacity. It's on netflix instant watch so if you have that you should really check it out :)
