{A}djusting to a new place wasn't easy. Especially since he was being treated differently compared to how people were usually treating him over there. Yes, he somehow managed to get a higher status in society (well, the highest status possible) but people were still looking down on him and not taking him seriously. This caused that whenever people weren't acting like that towards him over here, it never ceased to surprise him. However, this time he really felt certain of it that he messed up.
{H}e really didn't mean to bump into the stranger. He really didn't mean to end up thinking so much while walking around. It was a stupid mistake that he most likely would never be able to properly apologize for. But he could try at least. Without hesitating, Slaine bowed. "My apologies. I did not mean to do that."
I love you (he hates me so much for sending this)
"Awww, I knew it, Ta-tan~! Who doesn't?"
Totally grounds for throwing his arms over Takeru's shoulders and dangling on him like a cape.
"I'm just that cool, right? ♪"
Eventually, Yui should find a small box wrapped in red on the kitchen table. Inside are assorted chocolates, and sitting next to it is a stuffed pink rabbit, holding a card. Go figure, he managed to find one with a picture of the beach on it. I know it’s not much, but I hope you like it—and have a good day, all right? Happy Valentine’s Day —Susanoo
She beams down at the rabbit. Before she even glanced at the beach, she knew who it was from...
Yui was starting to have a really nice collection of stuffed animals. Not that she didn't mind.
"Hey, Ta-tan."
"Do you think I can toss this egg right into that jar?"
Upon her return from work, Yui may or may not find a soft package on her bed. The note attached is short and sweet. "It's not much, but I figure it might come in handy the next time we go skating. Merry Christmas. - Takeru" With an attempt at a little heart scribbled at the end. In the package itself, however, is a blue coat, meant to match her skates.
Yui beams at the note, cheeks reddening at the little heart at the end. How sweet...
Immediately she gives the coat a go-round—it's warm and soft, and reminds her of the very same person who gifted it to her.
Yes... they would certainly have to go skating again soon.
Yui fastened the laces with one final loop and looked at the potential skates from her view on the ground. The skates were white with soft fuzz at the top and on the inside. Light blue snowflakes danced on the sides of the shoes, but didn't fall onto the metal gliders underneath. Her small feet were snug inside of them—she felt like a winter Cinderella who had found her destined pair of skates.
If only there was a lake to practice them on nearby... Well, she thought, it wouldn't be too long until they did. There was just one problem...
"...Takeru, could you help me up?"
