The Doctor sighed, looking around the empty TARDIS. Once so full of life, now a quiet hum at the back of his mind. It had been so many years since he had a companion.By now he thought he would be used to the silence, but he still hated it. Sometimes he would forget that he had no one else around and would speak awaiting for someone to reply. The Doctor was soon lost in thoughts about past companions.
Suddenly the TARDIS jolted, sending him across the room. The TARDIS rotor started moving up and down, sending herself into the vortex. Soon they had landed. His eyes flicked to the door. Grinning, he grabbed his coat, bounding out the door.
After a few minutes of walking he stopped someone. ❝Scuse me?❞ He paused waiting for the person to address him. ❝Sorry, sorry, but, um… I’m a bit lost. Suppose you could tell me where we are?❞
