A fusion of sushi and burgers, this smoked salmon sushi burger is a delightful twist on traditional sushi rolls. It's packed with flavor and texture, combining the richness of smoked salmon with creamy avocado and crunchy cucumber, all wrapped in seasoned sushi rice and nori.
Ingredients: 4 cups cooked sushi rice. 1/4 cup rice vinegar. 2 tablespoons sugar. 1 teaspoon salt. 8 ounces smoked salmon. 1 avocado, sliced. 1 cucumber, julienned. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce. 4 nori sheets, cut into burger-sized circles.
Instructions: In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Pour over cooked sushi rice and mix well to combine. On a clean surface, lay out a piece of plastic wrap. Place a nori sheet circle on the plastic wrap. Spread a layer of sushi rice on top of the nori sheet. Layer smoked salmon, avocado slices, and julienned cucumber on top of the rice. Mix mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce, then drizzle over the toppings. Top with another layer of sushi rice. Place another nori sheet circle on top and gently press down to compact the ingredients. Carefully remove the plastic wrap and repeat to make more sushi burgers. Serve immediately and enjoy!
