So I recently started playing Double Cross, and it’s so frikkin good! It’s an action platformer with beat-em-up elements, and you also play the role of a detective by gathering evidence during action stages and interviewing characters in the hub! I frikkin love it!

But my favorite thing about this game has got to be the characters! Especially V”!!k}~X (or “Vorix” in human tongue), who’s a hulking Lovecraftian monster from another dimension, but turns out to be a big sweetheart! I absolutely adore him! 😊❤

There’s also a scientist bigfoot, Mad Max wasteland dinosaur marauders, a greasy robot mafioso, and your commanding officer is a grizzled mermaid! It’s great! ^^ lol

But anyway, I highly recommend trying this game if you like action platformers/beat-em-ups! Especially if you enjoy games like Mischief Makers, because this game has a somewhat similar feel to that.

No he leido la exitosa novela de Keigho Higashino, “La devoción del sospechoso X”, asi que no sé si la adaptación le hace justicia, pero por una parte me alegro de haber llegado primero a la pelicula porque de esta forma me han pillado por sorpresa sus giros, giros por otra parte nada sensacionalistas, sino muy bien encajados en el sentido de que toda la trama en torno al asesinato no es otra cosa que la excusa para hablarnos de la soledad y la alienación de la sociedad en la que vivimos, en este caso concreto Japón, pero podria ser cualquier otro lugar del mundo desarrollado y modernísimo, donde por ejemplo, los sin techo se hacinan apartados y ninguneados bajo la ·”no” mirada de los que van a trabajar todos los dias, deprisa y corriendo sin apenas dedicarles una mirada; pocas veces habia visto estos detalles en una peli japonesa aparentemente de género. Un thriller calmado y cerebral que he disfrutado muchísimo.
