ya'll ever have a good week and be like "hm maybe i do just want to be 'special' or whatever, and nothings actually wrong with me, and ive just imagined everything!" but then you start doing your laundry while looking for your phone as you try to deposit a check from work that you decided to do bc you found the last one hanging out on the floor that you uncovered while trying to find your toothbrush to pack for your trip?

and... I did not get the position. I know who they chose and I totally approve - honestly, this was a win/win scenario for me - the reason they didn’t pick me was because they wanted me in another position, so I can’t wait to hear about that! I love my current job and I’m great at it, and they know that and think this new position would suit me better.

So a slight disappointment, but I’m not considering it a failure. I learned so much from this process, and I got some recognition. So I’m hopeful for the future. :)
