Split Lip, Sharp Tongue

!! TW: Blood !!

c!Quackity has him. Fist tangled in c!Dream’s filthy, tattered prison shirt, yanking him up so hard his back almost arches. c!Dream’s face is a mess—blood trickling from his split lip—but that damn grin is still there. He tilts his head, eyes gleaming in the dim lava glow, and lets out a breathless chuckle.

"You busted my lip, Big Q."

And c!Quackity—he doesn’t look at his eyes. He should. He should be glaring him down, growling something about how c!Dream deserves worse, how he’ll make sure he gets worse.

But he doesn’t.

He stares at c!Dream’s mouth.

At the torn lip, the way blood beads at the corner, the way c!Dream’s tongue just barely swipes over it. The grin hasn’t wavered, but there’s something else there now—something daring.

And c!Quackity? c!Quackity hates that for a split second, he isn’t sure if he wants to hit him again… or—

You guys have no idea how much I struggled while drawing this ughhh
