Adoptive Parents and general good family relationships !!

i was thinking about how both One Piece and Dr Stone have a big focus on friendships and building communities in general but both also have a lot of found families and characters that have been adopted and i have such a soft spot for that and well for good parents and childs relationships

like Senku with Byakuya <3 the father and son relationship of these two have a special place in my heart !

i loved reading about Senku's memories about his dad, how both of them thought about each other and it will always hurt me so much that Senku could no longer see his dad or you know revive him but at the same time that helped Senku and everyone else in the future

as for One Piece most of the main cast were adopted because they either lost all of their family or their biological families were .. horrible

two One Piece families that i always think about are Nami's and Sanji's bc in both an adult ( Bellemere and Zeff ) found random some children, they took them with them, gave them the best life they could give them and made so much sacrifices for said children ( Zeff losing his leg and Bellemere's case her loosing her life :( ) and AAAA i can't think about them too much bc it hurts me AAA

asdkjshfkjs i just noticed that in both OP and DCST really good parents died and that both have many characters that lost everything 😭💔 well i guess that's the life of pirates and "post apocaliptic survivors" huh ?

the fact that Suika is basically Senku's apprentice and that she was the one that was assigned with the task of reviving her friends and she spent SO MANY YEARS alone trying to revive them 🥺 Suika my beloved watermelon child you are so smart <3 aaah btw Suika's reunion with Kohaku almost made me cry and it is one of my favorite dcst moments 😭 ( also i wanna add that i love Suika so much, i would fight for her i would die for her and if Suika has an enemy i'm gonna punch them in the face and i'm gonna defend that tiny watermelon at any cost )
