It’s a strange sensation Togami feels upon returning to his apartment after spending so long at Cardia’s house: unfamiliarity, and not from having neglected his bed for days. No, someone else has been here, someone new. After never meeting his two other roommates -- really, he has to wonder if they even exist, only a few sparse possessions signifying their presence -- he must admit he’s intrigued, even if the thought of someone new is rather disconcerting as well. Not one to freely interact with strangers, he plans to keep to himself as he usually does...that is, until he nearly walks smack dab into a petite girl, narrowly avoiding a collision. Well, it’s too late for that, then.
Stepping back, he takes a moment to look her over; she seems fairly harmless, not immediately annoying him simply by existing. As long as she wasn’t one of those kinds of people, the ones that just look like a nuisance, he supposes he can put up with living with her...for now, at least. “I suppose you’re my new roommate, then?” he asks, crossing his arms; it’s quite a bit of bravado for someone who’s spent the past few days hiding from the zombie apocalypse, but she doesn’t need to know that. “I’m Byakuya Togami. As long as you don’t needlessly bother me, I’m sure things will be fine.”
