Reflection on Jeremiah
It's been about a year or so since itsjeremiah was shut down. Maleminded is gone completely (twitter page remains), preserved only by the re-blogs and mezd left a haunting cryptic message on it's page. suzyderkins and jamesjoker both still require passwords which none of us have. Even his facebook page has disappeared. Mozd and Northamerifuck however are still running which I'm glad about since they both contain some his best efforts. He's delivering great music via bandcamp and the miqd youtube channel so that is all very appreciated. Overall I doubt we're going to see a comeback of the original itsjeremiah community, it was a lovely run while it lasted, perhaps the best experience one can get from any type of social networking; one where everyone was involved and gained something from each visit. We've all dispersed now going on with our lives, occasionally feeling the nostalgia of late night readings of Jeremiahs poop jokes and witty answers to hilarious questions. So to conclude, Jeremiah was in the end just a welcoming voice on the internet, who took the time to listen and that truly was more than enough.
