Uh-oH
On occasion, Yongguk would go out of his way to place himself around different types of people. He only very rarely ate human food, not needing it for anything other than show, so finding him at a restaurant was quite rare. Something about a small bakery had called out to him, perhaps being reminded of the way french bakeries smelled the first time he made port there. The place was lit up with tiny twinkling lights in greens, reds, and whites; it gave the place a warm glow of soft color in the fresh darkness of the evening. As much as the smell had lured him in, Yongguk couldn’t deny that another presence had pulled him in, curiosity getting the better of him. He knew the aura all too well, the ethereal glow that could only be a sign of an angel.
As he perused the front counter of the bakery, admiring the handiwork of all the delicate and decorative pastries, he could see her in the corner of his eye. She could surely feel his presence as well, breeding a sort of anticipation in the air around them. He chose a sugar cookie, iced to resemble a sprig of mistletoe, thanking the cashier as he brought the treat over to the angel sitting on her own. Plopping down in the seat next to hers, his free hand clasped her chin, bringing her lips to his as he presented the cookie to her. “You can have it.” He murmured, setting it in her hands before she could reach to slap him for the abrupt kiss. After all, he wasn’t going to eat it, he’d much rather eat her instead.
