what I really love about Lex's character and especially in the Smallville universe is that he comes from money and he did the whole billionaire daddy's boy thing for years and uses his money to get whatever he wants but also... he understands what money means to people who don't have as much as him and he wants to use his own money and shares to help other people, just like how he continuously pays for anyone's medical bills who's so much as in his vicinity
