actually i have one more i think that bingqiu are both introverts and that shen qingqiu is actually the more extroverted of the two (but only relatively speaking yknow) and i genuinely can’t figure out where people get the idea that luo binghe is an extrovert! like, he really only likes a few select people and prefers to be left alone, his go-to when he’s stressed is to isolate and turn inwards instead of to rely on others for anything, in this essay i will-
but where's the essay???
sy didnt have a personality change when he transmigrated, hes always been a flawed but generally good person from the beginning. people claim hes this super dislikable, smelly basement dweller when all hes done is rant on the internet like we all do? hes a fuerdai as well so doubt hes smelly (face is very important in asian culture, speaking from experience lol), also he’s kissed someone before so all signs pointing to him just being a nerd that enjoys degen content but nothing about him being some horrible irredeemable person lol
I totally understand SJ when he said he regrets not killing Bingge when he had his chance... Like Hello? Bingge became a tyrant who destroyed human world, he killed countless people, raped bunch of women and is a terrible ruler... Why y'all acting like this is wrong thing to say?
SJ's biggest mistake was that he never finished his job, 1st he should've killed QHT and everyone who witnessed him, 2nd he should've cut LBH's head off when he found out that LBH was demon
someone’s probably already said this before but i hate how mean the fandom is to yqy… sometimes people just make up stuff to hate him. sy canonically likes him and thinks of him as a big brother figure!! sy isn’t uncomfortable around him because yqy is creepy or always refers to him as “xiao jiu” or anything!! he’s uncomfortable because he can’t be the person that yqy wishes he were. “yqy doesn’t respect sqq’s boundaries” no!!! literally the main problem about qijiu is that yqy respects sj’s boundaries too much. yqy assumed that an explanation wouldn’t fix anything and i’m pretty sure unless he was truth serumed or something he literally isn’t able to say anything. trauma does that to you!! in the end, they both assumed things about the other and that’s why they never reconciled. please stop bullying him unless it’s affectionately. hes trying his best.

i know this is a contradiction to canon, but i wanna see the fic where someone takes 'liu qingge is the youngest peak lord' and makes it into 'liu qingge looks like a pretty boy who's twenty at best and also he's short'
give me short king liu qingge who doesn't tend to get taken seriously by civilians at first bc his cultivation froze his age before he finished his growth spurt and he's still a little baby-faced
Ever since I read Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil I loved reading all kinds of transmigration novels. After finishing SVSS and the extras, I realised how messed up it actually is. To be born a slave with your body as kind of your only possession, but to die without owning a single thing anymore. Not your body, not your name and you'll be remembered only by the things the transmigrator has done. I know it's just fiction and that transmigration novels are often lighthearted, but I still find it difficult to read them nowadays without overthinking transmigration.
