Paper napkin with Younger Futhark (also known as Scandinavian runes), folded twice, napkin unfurled 33 × 33 cm by Runologe. This was the alphabet used during the Viking Age.
I don’t know what these runes mean, but they look nice.

These are my summer shoes and I am glad to say I bought most of them over a year ago now and I’m still loving them. I’ve had little to no discomfort from wearing them and I’m confident enough to say I’ll be wearing them next summer as well. If you like any of these. I have some tips and things to share below.
1. Sven Mary Jane Clogs - I am between a Euro 34/35 which makes me ideal to wear children’s shoes. Believe it or not. The first pair of clogs I have are kid’s size which is really handy because they only cost $83 dollars and with shipping brought my cost to about $98 dollars. Still a remarkable price for an amazing quality clog. With Sven each pair you order full price is basically custom made so you can choose from an assortment of leather and wood finish. This one has a lot of wear and I admit I didn’t take the best care of them but I love them for that. The color was a Brick Red which I think they no longer offer but British Tan is a similar color.
2. Birkenstock Milano - I have a tendency to buy one summer thing in the middle of winter and last February during a blizzard I purchased these. I somehow took advantage that it was winter and caught onto the trend before it became a trend so I got these on sale for $78 dollars and Zappos offers free shipping. They’re a little big for me a 36 which at the time I didn’t really understand Euro sizing but the ankle strap solves the issue of worrying if they’ll fall off my feet. They really are insanely comfortable. It took getting use to.
3. Salt Water Sandals - This is my purchase for summer 2015 and the most affordable high quality purchase I’ve made thus far! I personally have come to find that investing in a shoe valued at around $100 dollars gives me the least issues and the most wear. But these were only $34.95! I love them and I will plan to own them in more colors. Again, I wear the Little Kid size...which is a Kids US 3 / Women’s US 5 / Euro 34-35. Also...I used my holiday gift card from work to purchase these. SO. To me, it was pretty much free haha.
4. Sven 2 Strap Medium Heel - I convinced myself that the difference between women’s and girls for Svens comes down to their refined shape. The women’s pairs are not as round looking. But the women’s pair at full price is also $205 dollars in comparison to the girls which are $83. I did not purchase these full price. I recommend gleaning through the CLOSEOUT section and you can purchase ones that are already made and for one reason or another are available at a discounted price. I lucked out and got this pair for only $90. I picked a 35 which is the smallest women’s and weirdly enough the 34 girl’s is bigger on me. Shoes do not make sense.
