After leaving Justin’s apartment Zander spent the rest of his day recovering from their night at the bar, making sure to rehydrate and eat only healthy foods so he would be feeling his best by the time their date rolled around. Luckily it worked, and he was almost 100% better when it finally came time to get ready. He had a few things to prepare, and after loading up his car he went back inside to shower and get dressed, choosing a nicer outfit than he’d normally wear, but still nothing super fancy. Then it was time to go get Justin, and by promptly 8 o’clock he was standing outside the other man’s door, nervously shifting from one foot to the other as he waited for him to open it.

Aidan hated that he was probably bothering Hanna with his presence, but he also couldn’t stand the thought of her taking care of herself. She didn’t seem to be the most elegant with the crutches so far, most likely just because she was mad. The last thing he wanted was something happening to her when she was all alone with no help. The dark-eyed man made his way downstairs and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Hanna crawling through the living room with her crutches a good distance behind her. It was obvious she had abandoned them after getting pissed off and he chuckled lightly before rushing down. “Hey, what are you doing?”

Being confronted by her boyfriend’s girlfriend definitely wasn’t something she had been expecting to happen today. Willow had only been dating the boy for about two weeks and when she saw pictures of them together, he had told her it was his ex and she had nothing to worry about. Obviously she did considering the girl had come to her apartment to talk to her about it. She was just glad that she wasn’t there to fight.  "I'm sorry, I didn't know. He told me you were in the past.” She sighed and ran her hand down in face. “He told me you were his ex and I had nothing to worry about. What a fucking prick.” She honestly wasn’t too invested in the relationship and hadn’t grown too attached to him, but that didn’t mean the other girl hadn’t. “Are you okay?”

   the room had fallen a little quieter almost instantly as the words were spoken. how was your date. if finn had been paying attention he probably would have noticed the few pairs of eyes that darted quickly to him  —  and yet he couldn’t stop his own brown eyes from falling solely to the male the words been directed towards. the musician he had no know had started dating again.  not since him.  finn tried not to let all emotions flicker over his expression, but it took a moment to hide them as his heart dropped to his stomach. he thought maybe they had been getting better...  that they might not be completely far from getting back together after all. but maybe not. clearly not.  “  you went on a date?  ”  the question fell quietly from his lips before he could help himself, paying no attention to the way their group of friends were cautiously trying not to glance over as his attention rested entirely on logan.

Nathan was a little surprised when Hanna accepted his offer. He’d anticipated some kind of rebuttal-- something that would inevitably steal an eye-roll from him. He wouldn’t tempt faith, just enjoy the moment as he held onto her. It was a nice distraction from everything going on in his life “You look pretty today,” he commented sincerely, letting the bullshit drop for a moment. 

Unbeknownst to her brother, her gaze flickered towards the woman in his arms. She still didn’t have a read on her, but the way she looked back was telling in itself. Green briefly locked on with brown. It would have been longer had her own date not brought her a flute of champagne. Graciously, she raised on her tiptoes to press her lips to girl’s cheek before putting her hand on her lower back. Taking a sip of her drink, she returned her attention to Hanna.

The rain was coming down in sheets and it was making Rhea more than irritated. If there was one thing she hated more than people asking questions, it was the rain. More specifically, the rain getting her soaked to the bone. One of her exes had loved comparing her to a cat which was adorable at first but grew less so when they got on her nerves. Her eyes cut to the other person under the covering, waiting for it to let up. “This is a tragedy, no? I’d much rather snow than this shit.”
