idk where u live but here we have like a russian school... my friend maria (who is incredibly russian) goes there and they teach reading and writing (she was reading some book completely in russian on the mongols) and they do russian theater. she has a mega accent in her english and speaks russian a lot :^( i hope u can go somewhere. tumblr user magnaeto studies a lot w cyrillic i think, also. theyd probably talk w u about russian stuff?

that sounds so cool.....!! i don't know of any russian schools here because there are like twelve russian families for the entire city, so there's literally nothing here except two delis and a bunch of kolache places that're for all the Americans?? i remember one of the russian adults around here ran a sort of basic-knowledge "russian school" thing a while ago, but that's about it.

what i probably need to do for now is read more russian books (which i have, but i always get so embarrassed by my inability to read as fast as i do in english that i never want to read them) >:(

i'll check out magnaeto's blog for sure!! maybe i can learn something about writing in russian, cuz i never actually formally learned that O:
