This is best answered with an noncommittal, uncertain hand wobble. As a Warrior of Light, it’s definitely not chance that he, of all people, was chosen, but he wouldn’t say he was put on Hydaelyn for the job. After learning of the Astrologians and how they read the stars to predict dragon attacks, he leans a little towards believing, but wouldn’t doubt that the dragons are doing something similar, in that they use the stars to determine their next move.

That being said, Nymeia is a thing and stuff like destiny and fate ARE good to put in his songs, if he writes any that go down that avenue.

zebra stone: what gets my muse excited

Lots of things, but mostly ACTION and ADVENTURE and COOL NEW TRICKS and finding out he’s going to be eating his favorite food for dinner, or that someone happened to get him his favorite snack. He is a simple boy who is easy to get pumped up.

Natsuki treats those he loves so. So. Delicately. He’ll go out of his way to ensure they don’t have to lift any unnecessary fingers, while also spending as much time with them as possible. Do you want to go buy something? He’ll carry your stuff for you without being asked. Going out to fight some monsters? Please, allow him to accompany you and protect you. Taking a seat at the dinner table? Let him just scoot out your chair for you and push you in. Want a hug? You are a delicate flower in his arms and he is also probably very confused what is physical contact oh gosh???????

kyanite: an anger headcanon

Natsuki, ever the silent type, continues to stay silent when angry. But he starts to exude this sort of…aura, you see. A very dangerous one. You didn’t even notice him before, but now you definitely see him glaring at you from where he stands. His arms are crossed, but his hands grip his sleeves like he’s trying to hold himself back. And, if ordered, he’ll most certainly press his dagger against your throat in a flash. Try to fight, and you’ll find yourself swiftly whooped to the floor, though largely uninjured (save for your pride, he hopes).

But, for the most part, he’d rather swallow his rage than let it blind him. He’s more about intimidation and humiliation than simply beating someone up.

Desi likes to calm down by quietly spending time with his friends and generally being close to them. They don’t have to be paying him any attention, he can just be reading a book while sitting next to them as they do their thing. It’s extra calming if he gets to lean on them, and cuddle piles are A+

calcite: my muse’s social tendencies (introverted vs extroverted, parties vs one-on-one conversations, etc.)

Desi is a mixture of an extrovert and an introvert. He gets energy from being around people, but too many people starts to suck the life from him. He likes conversations with multiple people, but enjoys one-on-one’s just as much - as long as he can talk and say what he wants to say when he wants to say it, he’s happy! He’s energetic, friendly, and a social butterfly, but likes to takes quiet breaks with a book and a friend to hang out with.

charoite: who my muse looks up to

Desi really looks up to his older brother Jaxen, who is a lancer of the Twin Adders, and his older sister Caelis, who is an alchemist studying under Severian. To him, Jaxen is very smart, kind, strong, and most importantly, responsible. Caelis is also smart, kind, and responsible, but she is far more gentler than Jaxen (mainly because she’s far meeker). Both have always had the time to spend with Desi whenever they visit home, and are able to patiently explain things to him. ...Desi misses them both.
