Fiction Writer Question
So I have this conundrum. A character is set to strike out through a swamp and is expected to use a draft animal and some manner of (pole drag, sled, wagon, cart, other semi-large and load-bearing) hauling device. I think a water buffalo or something similar to it is probably the best local variety for the animal... but the best thing I can come up with for the hauling device is some kind of ‘flat boat almost toboggan shaped with very short, hefty wheels’ type device that will drag, float, and be rolled with equal ease Anybody got suggestions?
