Friends/Supernatural - nah i dont think so! the closest we ever got to that was changing channels - SPN can pull off the funny stuff but i dont see friends ever being able to do a supernatural theme

I think you and I are destined to bond over our mutual dislike and hatred for certain characters, rather than mutual love for characters. I just read your Robin rant and I agree wholeheartedly (although I haven't seen the most recent ep yet). But she is a bully and a horrible person, and I have never been able to like her as a character.

Hahah! Well, the important thing is that we are bonding! 

I really don't get people's love for Robin, I feel like too much is forgiven in sitcoms. Sometimes it's just too horrible to be funny.

Tough one...I am increasingly chilly towards Anya and Xander. He really infantalizes her and the text treats her frankness about what she wants (ie: her clear communications of consent with her partner) as a defect and I said no, no, no.

I: Has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

It's made me averse to joining certain fandoms...particularly a certain show about a disrespectful British detective and queer-baiting friendship...and the murder apologists fans of another show about a certain cannibal and his queer-baiting friendship... but i my like for things has been historically strong enough to withstand the shitiness of other people who like them too.

N:Your favorite fandom (for the people; not the thing you fangirl over).

BtVS! Most of the people I talk to over here regularly are BtVSers. For every time I see someone in the tags with a shitty, offensive opinion, there are two other lovely and articulate members waiting on my dash.  We are the epitome of a Canadian, small-campus university experience: intense,intimate but not without prestige.

what was the last great book you read? I recently finished Jeffrey Eugenides' The Virgin Suicides. One of the most nuanced feminist texts and exploration into unreliable narration and the male gaze ever.

where would you like to travel to next, assuming time and money were non-issues? Tokyo. I might be the closest thing our planet has to a Pushing Daisies urban center, is rich in history as well all da SHOPPING.

what is your favourite candy? White chocolate.
