is Techni (and Fell!Mono) still colourblind? also are we allowed to ask about Fell!Mono too because honestly i just love all of ur characters Skoop ur doing a great job bless u

You guys can totally ask about Technicolor (Swap!mono) or Greyscale (Fell!Mono)

Techni and color? It’s unsure if they’re colorblind as Techni never admits any faults he has and Color can’t speak. 

There is a possibility Techni can’t see red as he doesn’t obey traffic signals, especially ‘STOP’. It could just be he has no issue with jaywalking. Nobody knows. He likes the color green and minty shades because of his affinity for rolling hills and peppermint.

Color seems like he can see colors, but he’s very spastic in choosing pigments when painting. He tends to prefer blues and yellows, using them more than any other color.

Monochrome can’t see color. Eventually, he gets glasses which help him see colors! He will lean towards pinks and oranges when given the choice.

Greyscale can’t see red, green or blue light and will get awfully violent when discussing anything pertaining to the colors appearance. However, he seems to like RED. Others fear it, it has a dangerous and imposing presence as a color to which he admires. It’s good. It’s a threatening color if utilized correctly.

I feel like if Color were to be human he would be slightly autisic. I mean it's a weird idea but as a slightly autisic person, maybe it's a good thing?

On the spectrum, I’m slightly autistic.

Color would be a lot higher on the spectrum if he were.

He’s unable to speak, doesn’t understand inflections or lots of words, doesn’t respond to stimuli properly. He stares at people from a distance and doesn’t blink too often, he can’t run properly because he stumbles and has a hard time coordinating movements so he’ll trip often. He is incapable of making friends nor sympathizing with others and has a hard time doing anything to convey a need unless he realizes he desires it himself.

Color is essentially a toddler in a 10 year old’s body. He’s capable of learning, but he’ll always be stunted.

Why does swap mono have weird eyes on the right? The two look entirely different

I wrote this damn ask answer twice now so listen good.

Techni on the right is a different design. Rather than being an Omnipj child, both designs for Swap!Mono are Freshpaper kids haha how bout dat?

Swapped placed with Cray, but not exactly... became him. 

His eyes are drawn in as to not cause alarm, thus the colors can be exchanged. He can’t move his pupils nor speak or do much, but he can walk and emote. He appears to be falling apart at the seams underneath his clothing, a syndrome that gets steadily worse and worse over time.

Technicolor on the right isn’t actually... alive the same way Mono normally is. It’s more of a ‘Oh god, my paint is walking.’ kind of situation. 

 This design of Techni doesn’t have a soul, but he shows sentience and develops personality over time akin to an AI. He has long periods of time where he will stand still and wait for his parents to return for guidance and instructions. He can told to stay and lo and behold a week later, he hasn’t moved at all.

Essentially, Techni would stop breathing if he wasn’t told to do so.

I love Techni and his weird fucked up brother-self,, I have a question though, what’s the rectangle thing his clone is holding? I originally thought it was pockets on his hoodie but he seems to be able to move it up ? If that makes sense? Is he just not able to consistently form proper hands or is it something else?

It’s a muff of ink to hide the fact he’s falling apart!I’ve explained a little bit more about Color over HERE.

But for brevity’s sake, he actually is eventually going to fall apart and die because he doesn’t have a soul. Techni will continue to keep putting him back together again and again, because he’s lonely and he wants compliant company that bad.
