Cookbooks but, preferentially, old family recipes. He loves collecting secret recipes like that. Things not everyone has access to. Nowadays, people will actually seek him out and give him their recipes, knowing their family won’t hold onto the recipe or appreciate it.
And magical boyfriends, of course.
Pup:
Music! Records, sheet music, musical instruments, anything related to music! The boy loves his music, and he’d love to hoard it.

Rus:
Junk. Anything that looks interesting or anything that seems like he could fiddle with or play with it. He especially loves fabrics and sewing materials. But really, he just loves interesting or unique crap.

Cash:
A classic boy, he hoards gold and gems much like Twist. He’d probably be more involved in stocks and investing, though.
(Btw, all of this are going to be tagged “Swaptypical”. Writing is...not working, so I’m just having a bit of fun with this.)
Rus—I really can’t mention Vampire Rus without bringing up Alice’s amazing fic “Argent Nights”. It’s gonna be pretty hard to separate the two in my head, but I’ll try. So, I think Rus would probably still be under the sway of the vampire that changed him. They’d have to free him and really help him reconcile his existence as a vampire with his perception of himself. It would be a bit like waking up from a nightmare. (While they’re under their master’s sway, a new vampire really isn’t fully aware of their surroundings.)
Pup—Aw, poor, Pup. He’d be such a mess. Trying to run from what he is, I think. He would be a very new vampire and, without his ‘master’, he’d have almost no control of himself. He’d try to isolate himself, and would probably be trying to live off animal blood (which would not work). He’d be in some pretty dire straits when they picked him up.
Cash—This guy. He’d probably be super old, with a collection of baby vamps and thralls under his thumb. Then someone—maybe Plum—comes through and devastates his whole coven. He’s the only one left, and he’s hurt and vulnerable for the first time in centuries. He’d be so angry about it too. Learning to let himself become attached to people without controlling them would be a huge part of his character arc.
Papyrus—The brightest, cheeriest vampire you’ve ever seen. You’ll forget that he’s a blood-drinker until he jokes about luring someone into a back-alley outside a quaint little cafe with the best lattes he’s ever had! It’s...jarring and he comes off as socially awkward. He has a hard time connecting to mortals and can be overly interested in them and their gadgets. He really just wants to make friends—maybe grab a quick bite—but most mortals find him off-putting and frightening. He’s very lonely prior to meeting the others. They give him a home and a place to belong.
Twist—A bit like Cash, he’ll have been a vampire for a while. His master actually cast him out, leaving him with some lingering abandonment issues. He loves people, and he’s changed more than a few vampires. But as soon as he loosens his mental hold on them, they leave. He’s very lonely, and by the time he joins the hoard, he’s too afraid of losing more people to get close easily—mortals always die so soon, and no one else stays. Being with the others is more than he ever dreamed possible.
I was thinking about a thing theses days : Swaptypical. Where everything is the "same" except the papyruses switch their "species". Like. Dragon Cash ? Werewolf Edge ? Spirit Rus ? Succubus Pup ? Vampire Papyrus ?? I'm sorry I just. Love all the possibilities.
Ooh, man…. That’s certainly intriguing. I love those possibilities too. (Especially dragon Cash. It’s so appropriate. If I’d had all 6 of them when I started writing for this ‘verse, Cash probably would have been my first choice for dragon.)
Man…I really love this. It’s especially intriguing to consider how their relationships and personalities would change too. Because Edge would likely have much better control over his wolf, so he wouldn’t be as anxious. And Pup as a sex demon is somehow kind of sad and adorable—he’d be so nervous about trying to seduce anyone! Or what if—Pup as a forest spirit? I’m kind of in love with him as a forest god. I really am.
That’s really just way too much fun to play around with. If anyone has anything they want to add, please feel free. This is a fun ‘what-if’ scenario, and I’m more than happy to play around with it. My ask box is wide open.

Edge—He will never escape his eating disorder, honestly. He’d feel so guilty taking mana from people like this, especially because he can project desire and push them into wanting him. Consent would be extremely important to him, and...I think he’d have trouble enjoying himself during sex. The others could help him with that.
Pup—He’d be shy and underfed. Finding lovers would be incredibly nerve-wracking for him. He’d try to lure them in with his projections, but I don’t think he’d be very good at it. I think he probably ends up finding bordellos and paying for sex most of the time. Being with the others would be such a relief for him and he’d be so eager to please.
Cash—Is anyone surprised to know that he’d probably go into sex work? He’d be very successful at it, and likely just as decked out in jewelry as he is as a siren. Actually caring about the people he feeds from would be totally new to him, though. The others would help soften him, I think, show him that there’s more to life than money.
Papyrus—(Just to clarify, he’d be an adult here.) He’d probably be the most balanced and sociable. He’d be the type to flirt unconsciously, projecting subtle hints of desire without really meaning to. It’s...not as nice as he thought it would be when he was younger. Everyone wants him, but no one seems to like him for him. They just want a piece of him. Being with the others would really give him a chance to be himself and to be liked and loved for who he is rather than merely wanted for what he is.
Twist—He’d be a huge flirt, but I think he’d probably be pretty self-destructive. He’d choose partners that would hurt him, partners that would reinforce his feelings of worthlessness. He might also have a history of sex work, but it wouldn’t necessarily have been his choice—he would have been made to feel that it was his only option, that he wasn’t good for anything else. The others would help empower him and show him that he’s worth more than his cock or his cunt.
Swapped atipical Twist could be the siren that just wants afection but his upbringing and instincts keep him from conecting to others. XD
