The weird blend of joy over the return of familiar weather patterns and the inevitable maudlin sentimentality for good times on similar days in the past, washed up on breezes that smell like places and times I miss always gets me feeling some purple prosey way. Kept coming up with bits of minutiae to keep adding to this and it took a lot longer than I expected. Glad I at least got it done while there are still cherry blossoms on the trees to moon over. 🌸 #embroidery #freehand

This week I’ve been airing my post-inauguration anxieties by freehand stitching whatever comes to mind on little swatches of felt. Went to FedEx and got scans of them so I can use ‘em in a potential zine/to make up for my low-qual photos b/c embroidery is SO TRICKY TO PHOTOGRAPH!!
