Ragnar Östberg (July 14, 1866 - 1945) was a Swedish architect, designer and professor, who is best known for Stockholm’s City Hall - a red-brick building inspired by the Doge’s Palace in Venice. Östberg started work on the drawings in 1903, and it took 20 years to complete the building.

Torben Grut (June 2, 1871 - 1945) was a Swedish Neo-classicist architect. He is probably best known for the 1912 Olympic Stadium in Stockholm which is still in use. Other works include private villas, factory buildings and several churches. But his most elegant building is probably the small castle, Solliden (1906) on the island of Öland.

Aron Johansson was a Swedish architect whose prestigious works include the Parliament building in Stockholm, as well as the National Bank of Sweden building right next to it. Both were completed 1905-6.
